| i. | The traveller shall be a single line. | | |
i. | トラベラーは 1本のロープでなければならない。 | |
| | It shall be rigged as a simple closed loop through the traveller eyes and the free end passing through the traveller cleat. | | |
| トラベラーのロープは左右のトラベラーアイを通る一重の閉じたループをつくり、その手元側の端はトラベラークラムクリートを通っていなければならない。 | |
| | A splice that does not extend through the nearest traveller eye may be used at the non-free end. | | |
| トラベラーの手元でないほうの端は、最も近いトラベラー用のアイを超えない範囲でスプライスしてもよい。 | |

| ii. | A spring, ball or tape may be used between the traveller blocks. | | |
