| 6. | (1) | The Association shall be governed by the World Council comprised of the Chairman of each Regional Executive Committee from time to time holding office, the immediate Past President of the World Council, the Executive Secretary, the two appointed members of the Advisory Council, and such additional officers to be appointed by the Council for such term as it may from time to time determine. | 6. | (1) | 本協会は当該時期在職中の各地域の執行委員会委員長(会長)、直前のワールドカウンシル会長、事務局長、アドバイザリーカウンシル(顧問評議員)に任命されている 2名、カウンシルよって任命される追加役員(任期については随時定められる)から成るワールドカウンシルよって統治される。 | |||||
| Each officer shall be a member of the Association. | 各役員は本協会のメンバーでなければならない。 | |||||||||
| (2) | The World Council shall meet not less frequently than once per year and the first meeting shall take place within two months of the election of the Regional Chairmen. | (2) | ワールドカウンシルは 1年に 1回以上会議を持つものとし、1回目の会議は地域の執行委員会委員長(会長)の選挙から 2カ月以内とする。 | |||||||
| The time and location of meetings shall, if possible, coincide with the holding of a world or a regional championship meet. | 会議の開催時期と場所は、可能な限り、世界選手権または地域選手権に合わせることが望ましい。 | |||||||||
| (3) | The World Council shall elect from amongst themselves, the President and Vice-President of the Association who shall hold office until their successors are elected to office; | (3) | 本協会の会長と副会長はワールドカウンシルメンバーの中から選出され、後継者が選出されるまで在職する。 | |||||||

| (4) | The Executive Secretary shall be appointed by the elected members of the World Council and shall hold office for such term and upon such conditions as the World Council shall decide. | (4) | エグゼクティブセクレタリー(事務局長)はワールドカウンシルに選出されたメンバーによって任命され、ワールドカウンシルが定める期間在職する。 | |||||||

| (d) | liaison between the membership and the Chief Measurer. | (d) | 本協会会員やチーフメジャラーとの連絡 | |||||||
| (5) | The World Council shall appoint, for such term as it shall decide, a Chief Measurer for the Association who shall rule on all questions and challenges relating to the Rules, and shall issue Interpretations thereof deemed necessary by him. | (5) | ワールドカウンシル(世界評議員会)は、ルールに関する全ての質問や問題に対して判断を下し、必要であると判断された場合はそれについて判例を発行する本協会のチーフメジャラー(任期は別途に定める)を任命する。 | |||||||
| All such Interpretations shall be binding until approved, rejected, or modified by decision of the World Council, duly published to the members of the Association. | それらの判例はワールドカウンシルにより承認、あるいは拒絶、または変更されて協会の会員に広報されるまで拘束力を持つ。 | |||||||||
